Prescription Drug Drop-Off Saturday

Oct. 19, 2016

The Leelanau County Sheriff's Office will host a DEA Prescription Drug Take-Back Day Saturday from 10am to 2pm.

The Sheriff's Office will have a deputy stationed at the department's lobby at 8525 E Government Center Drive in Suttons Bay. Anyone wishing to dispose of unwanted prescription pills can drop them off for disposal during the event hours. The Sheriff's Office partners with the DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) to provide the free service, with collected prescriptions disposed of by the DEA at no cost to the county.
