Join The Ticker for a very special Recess at the Ballpark with the Traverse City Pit Spitters on Wednesday, May 8 - where one winner will win a VIP suite for 25 people for a summer game valued at $500!

Attendees at The Ticker's monthly after-work happy hour will enjoy socializing and delicious stadium concessions and drinks, including fresh-grilled hot dogs, nachos, and a ballpark snack station (popcorn, peanuts, etc). Attendees will also be able to see the new upgrades to the ballpark, buy tickets and merchandise, enjoy field games, and be entered into a door drawing to win fabulous prizes, including:

> A VIP Suite for up to 25 people at a June or July TC Pit Spitters game - includes use of suite, 25 suite tickets, food and beverage service, and a $50 food voucher ($500 value)
> Leelanau Wine and Comedy prize package, including two tickets to Sips & Giggles featuring Aaron Kleiber, two tickets to Planet of the Grapes Wine Fest, two tickets to the Rosé Challenge, and two tickets to an event of choice along the Leelanau Peninsula Wine Trail ($240 value)

Admission to Recess is $10 and is open to the public. The event goes from 5pm to 7pm. Free parking will be provided to event attendees at the ballpark. The Traverse City Pit Spitters ballpark is located at 333 Stadium Drive in Traverse City near Chums Corner.
