Sunrise Rotary Awards Grants

The Rotary Club of Traverse Bay Sunrise Foundation has announced its fall mini grants totaling $5,000. Recipients include the Antrim County Baby Pantry, Family Partnership Grand Traverse, Grow Benzie, Junior Achievement Northwest Michigan, Kalkaska Baby Pantry and PoWeR! Book Bags.

The foundation had received 29 requests for a total of $24,000. 

The Sunrise Foundation established their priorities as arts/culture, basic human needs, environment, health and safety, recreation, education, and youth. Since its inception, Rotary Club of Traverse Bay Sunrise Foundation has awarded more than $64,000 to support a wide variety of community programs in the Grand Traverse region.

The Traverse Bay Sunrise Rotary Club, formed in 1999, is one of three Traverse City Rotary International clubs.
