Bust in Shadowland Motel

Dec. 5, 2012

A search by a team of local law enforcement officers uncovered an apparent methamphetamine production operation at the Shadowland Motel on Munson Avenue in Traverse City yesterday morning. A team of Traverse City Police Department, Grand Traverse Sheriff’s Office and the TC Fire Department assisted the Traverse Narcotics Team on the execution of a search warrant that resulted in the seizure of drug paraphernalia and marijuana, as well component chemicals and equipment used in the production of meth. One woman was arrested on an unrelated misdemeanor warrant; police say more arrests are expected as the investigation continues.
