Cooks' House, Goodwill To Host Pop-Up Dinner

Aug. 20, 2014

This Monday, August 25, The Cooks' House in Traverse City is teaming up with Goodwill's Mi Fresh Start to provide training in a pop-up restaurant event at The Commons' newly renovated Kirkbride Hall.

Individuals in Goodwill's training program will work side by side with The Cooks' House chef owners Eric Patterson and Jennifer Blakeslee and their crew on a farm-to-table dinner. The menu will be determined by what's available at the farmer's market and will include passed hors d'oeuvres and three courses.

The event kicks off at 6pm. Tickets are $50 and only 100 will be sold. For reservations, call 944.5844.

Earlier this summer, Red Ginger participated in a pop-up dinner event with Goodwill at Black Star Farms while its downtown restaurant was closed due to the collapse of a structural pillar.
