Museum Researching Local Aircraft Carriers

The Grand Traverse Lighthouse Museum in Northport is looking for information on the World War II aircraft carriers that were used in Lake Michigan and Grand Traverse Bay for an upcoming exhibit. If anyone in Leelanau County or the surrounding Grand Traverse area has any images, firsthand accounts, newspaper articles or other histories related to these unique aircraft carriers they are asked to email Amanda or call 386.7195.
