Carter Oosterhouse, Amy Smart Named Grand Marshals Of Pride Parade

Television host and Traverse City resident Carter Oosterhouse and his wife, actress Amy Smart will serve as grand marshals of the third annual Up North Pride Parade June 25.

The parade - which winds through downtown Traverse City starting at The Little Fleet beginning at noon - is the culmination of the week-long Up North Pride Week June 19-25. The week will feature many free and family-friendly activities. The Pride Week schedule of events is as follows:

Sun 6/19: Juneteenth Film Screening "From Selma To Stonewall" at the State Theatre: 1pm
Mon 6/20: HereSay Storytelling at the Old Town Playhouse: 6pm cocktail hour, 7pm show
Tues 6/21: Magic on The Rocks w/ Ben Whiting at The Parlor: 8pm
Wed 6/22: 2nd Annual Pride Ride with El Norte at F&M Park: 5:45pm
Wed 6/22: Sign and Poster Making Party at The Little Fleet: 7pm (free supplies)
Wed 6/22: Pride Week Karaoke at Sidetraxx: 9pm
Thurs 6/23: Founders Party: Drag, DJ Acupunk and other surprises at The Little Fleet: 7pm
Fri 6/24: Wine Tasting at Bonobo Winery: 6-9pm
Fri 6/24: Pride Weekend Kickoff at Sidetraxx: 10pm
Sat 6/25: Morning Practice with Shanti School of Yoga at the Open Space: 10am
Sat 6/25: Up North Pride Parade with Grand Marshals Carter Oosterhouse and Amy Smart at The Little Fleet: 12pm
Sat 6/25: Up North Pride Rally at Rare Bird Brewpub Back Lot (end of parade route)
Sat 6/25: Nest Fest with Up North Pride at Rare Bird Brewpub Back Lot: 6pm
Sat 6/25: Official After Party with Bayside Bombshells at Sidetraxx:9pm
