Fee Increase Considered For National Lakeshore

The Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is requesting public comment on an increase to entrance and camping fees beginning January 2016. The proposed fee schedule is as follows:
Park Entrance Pass (per private vehicle), $15 (up from $10)
Annual Park Entrance Pass, $30 (up from $20)
Camping at D.H. Day, $16 (up from $12)

The current fees have been in place since 2004. The cost of Senior, Access or Military passes will not increase under this proposal.
