Harbor Lights Wins Benzie Business Of The Year

Sept. 18, 2014

Harbor Lights Resort on Lake Michigan in Frankfort has been named the “2014 Outstanding Business Member of the Year” by the Benzie County Chamber Board of Directors. The beachside motel and condominium property will be honored at the Chamber's Annual Dinner Oct. 28 at Crystal Mountain.

The chamber presents the award annually to one of its members. This year, 21 members were nominated, with 12 completing the application process.

"We’re so pleased and honored to be recognized …we know we’re in excellent company with all the former recipients of this award, as well as the field of nominees this year,” says Steve Campbell of Harbor Lights Resort, which offers a variety of room types and can host groups up to 300.

Other finalists under consideration were Big Bob’s Up North Outfitters, Cartridge World, Edward Jones, Elizabeth Lane Oliver Center for the Arts, Graceland Fruit, Inc., John Darien Homes, LLC, Live for Art Gallery, M-22 Internet Project, Platte Lake Veterinary Clinic, South Side Plaza and Wolfe Outfitters.
