New Cheese Shop Opens in TC

Last month The Ticker wrote about the boom in cheese shops in the region; now a new one has opened in Traverse City proper. Manny's Specialty Cheese opened May 10th in the Eastfield Plaza. Located just off 8th Street next to Eastfield Laundry, the shop is open Tuesday through Saturday. Manny's carries an assortment of domestic and imported artisan cheeses, as well as charcuterie (preserved meat products). Learn more here.

Delightful shop. I came home with my new favorite cheese and sopestrata, a delicious meat that tastes much better than it looks. Plus great crackers and olive oil. Number one for a fabulous picnic. Welcome to the area Manny.
