Opera House Unveils Its Lineup

The City Opera House announced its 2015-16 Performing Arts Series, which features five more live shows than last year. The season kicks off with Mitch Albom's hit play "Ernie," bringing the story of Hall of Fame broadcaster Ernie Harwell to the stage, Aug. 12-16. It is followed by stand-up comedian Louie Anderson on Sept. 20. Other highlights include The Moth Mainstage, featuring carefully selected storytellers in the same style as The Moth Radio Hour which airs locally on Interlochen Public Radio, the Metropolitan Opera Rising Stars Concert Series, and two of the world's most celebrated fiddlers, Natalie MacMaster and Donnell Leahy.

Ticket packages go on sale to the general public this Fri., May 8. Patrons who purchase three or more shows receive 20 percent off plus the best seats. Single ticket sales go on sale to the general public on June 19. Check out the entire season's schedule and ticket info here.
