TC Skater Heading To Nationals

Nov. 26, 2014

For the first time in Traverse City Figure Skating Club history, a skater is headed to the 2015 U.S. Figure Skating National Championships. Frances Rossiter placed fourth at the Midwestern Sectional Championships in Illinois last weekend, earning a trip to the Nationals in North Carolina in January.

Rossiter, 11, is in sixth grade at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Middle School in Traverse City and has been skating for seven years. Attending the National Championships is the highest level a skater her age can achieve. Rossiter is coached by Laurent and Heidi Masse. Laurent is also the director of the figure skating club.
