West Front Closure Starts August 25

A heads up to west side commuters in Traverse City: West Front Street from the western city limits to Elmwood Avenue will be closed for nearly two months starting next week. The section of city street will be closed for reconstruction of the underground utilities and total reconstruction of the street. The closure extends from August 25 through October 13. Work will require complete closure to all traffic; a signed detour will be in place.
