Adam Bartelmay Returning to TC

Former 7&4 News anchor Adam Bartelmay is returning to Traverse City. This time, however, he’ll be working for 9&10 News. Beginning in August, Bartelmay will anchor the 7pm and 10pm Fox 32 newscasts alongside Sara Simnitch.

“This is a great opportunity for us to bring a news veteran back to our market,” explains 9&10 News Director Kevin Dunaway.

Bartelmay left 7&4 in 2010 after nearly a dozen years at the station. From there, he went on to anchor in Boise and most recently in Joplin, Missouri. He says he plans on living in Traverse City, and commuting to Cadillac.

“We thought long and hard about making this move and we just felt the time was right while our kids were still young, and have them grow up in one of the greatest places we know,” he says.
