Area Home Sales Up In October

Area home sales price in October jumped slightly from September and also bested the October 2024 mark. 

The median five county (Grand Traverse, Leelanau, Benize, Antrim, Kalkaska) sales price was $425,000 in October, up from $420,000 in September and $407,750 in October 2024. This according to statistics provided by local real estate group Aspire North. 

Volume was at 276 homes sold in October, which is down from 293 in September but up from 246 homes in October of last year.

Median sales numbers are still considerably higher than recent years, with the October 2023 median sales price at $387,250, for instance, $325,000 in October 2021 and $225,000 in June 2019.
