Aspire North REALTORS has chosen Alan Jeffries to succeed Kimberly Pontius as its CEO in 2025.

Alan Jeffries is a seasoned CEO/Association Executive, according to a statment from Aspire North, serving as the CEO/AE at the Southwestern Michigan Association of Realtors and Real Estate Information Systems (MLS) since May 2017.

He has also been a licensed real estate broker for 31 years and owned his own brokerage in Kalamazoo before becoming a CEO/AE. Alan has his RCE (Real Estate Certified Executive) designation, holds the PSA, MRP, CRS, SFR, and ePRO certifications, and is a level 3 state-certified tax assessor. He has served on several NAR committees throughout his career and currently sits on the RPAC Participation Council. He also serves on several committees at Michigan Realtors, including the RPAC Trustee, Public Policy, and Finance Committees.

Alan is a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He has been married to his wife Joy for 34 years and has two sons, Alex and Luke. In his free time, Alan enjoys fishing, teaching real estate educational classes, and learning about new real estate technology.

Alan inherits an association with a strong foundation built by its previous executives Judith Lindenau (1978 – 2007) and Kimberly Pontius (2007 – present). Aspire North REALTORS® would like to thank Kimberly Pontius for his leadership and dedication to the association for the past seventeen years. We wish him well and look forward to what the future holds for both him and the association.
