Britten Threads Sold To Get In The Game Marketing

May 12, 2017

Traverse City-based marketing firm Get In The Game Marketing has purchased shirt printing company Britten Threads.

The business, which will be renamed Threads, will temporarily continue to operate at the Britten Media campus on Cass Road, but will soon move to a new location. Threads will continue to print custom wearable goods for schools and businesses, including for clients such as the TC Patriot Game, Pure Detroit and the Detroit Free Press Marathon.

New owner Josh Ludka says Threads will offer expanded warehouse product storage for clients, as well as "Pride Pack Stores" that allow clients to order directly from printers. Ludka says the majority of Threads' existing 11 employees will continue to stay with the company, including his brother, Chris Ludka, who was the president of Britten Threads. "We have a strong core of experienced people," Josh Ludka said in a statement. "We want to maintain that core group as best we can and continue to grow the business."
