Candy Drop-Off For Troops

Oct. 31, 2014

In preparation for post-Halloween candy overload, Munson Medical Center's myWellness team and Northern Michigan Diabetes Initiative are once again hosting candy drop-off sites for treats for troops.

Children and parents are invited to bring a portion of their sweet stash to Employee Health, located in the Munson Professional Building at Munson Medical Center, or Munson Community Health Center (550 Munson Ave.) between 8am and 4pm, on Tues., Nov. 4 or Wed., Nov. 5. The candy will be donated to American Legion Auxiliary units in Traverse City and Fife Lake to be packaged and sent to Grand Traverse County residents serving overseas.
