Cars, Planes, And More: Recess Returns!

May 21, 2021

After a year hiatus due to COVID-19, The Ticker’s monthly happy hour gatherings are returning later this year.

The first 2021 event will be held Wed., Sept. 8 at Cherry Capital Airport. Always a popular Recess venue, this iteration will again offer a $500 American Airlines gift card to one lucky attendee.

On Wed., Oct. 6, Recess will be inside GR Auto Gallery, a massive and pristine warehouse in Traverse City full of vintage and collectible cars — many for sale!

On Wed., Nov. 3, we will travel up the beautiful Old Mission Peninsula to the Peninsula Room at Jolly Pumpkin: Old Mission Peninsula's only reception and event venue.

Then on Wed., Dec. 1, we will host our fourth annual “Giving Recess” at Father Fred, where all entry fees will be donated to that local nonprofit.

All Recess events are held 5pm-7pm with a $10 cover charge. Enjoy hors d'oeuvres, beverages, and a chance to win incredible prizes (of course all events subject to any state or federal guidelines limiting gatherings, etc.)
