Chamber Fund Closes Eighth Loan

The Laughing Horse Saloon in Benzie County is the latest recipient of a Sub Micro Loan from the Traverse City Area Chamber of Commerce – marking the loan program's eighth loan in its first year for a total of $50,000.

The Chamber founded the loan program to help small business start-ups and expansions. The $100,000 loan loan program was funded with $50,000 each from the Chamber Foundation and Fifth Third Bank.
