Children's Book Festival Returns to City Opera House Nov 8

The Traverse City Children’s Book Festival will return to the City Opera House on Saturday, November 8 from 10am to 2pm.

Presented by the Jenkins Group, the annual event celebrating literacy, community, and creativity "brings together Michigan and national publishers to showcase a diverse selection of books geared towards children and young adult readers," according to a company release. "Families attending the festival will not only discover captivating stories but also enjoy live performances and hands-on activities hosted by local nonprofits and businesses."

Attendees will have a chance to meet award-winning authors and illustrators, including Moonbeam
Children’s Book Awards medalists. Admission is free; no tickets are required. Every attendee, including children and adults, will receive $1 in Book Bucks to use toward the purchase of books at the festival. More information is available online here.
