By Beth Milligan | Feb. 21, 2022

Collective Soul and Tesla have been added to the National Cherry Festival lineup, with both acts performing on the Pepsi Bayside Music Stage on July 4.

Rock band Collective Soul's self-titled debut album spent 76 weeks on the Billboard 200 charts and went triple-platinum, producing such number-one hits as December, The World I Know, and Where the River Flows. Subsequent albums produced several more songs that topped the rock charts, including hits Precious Declaration, Listen, and Heavy. Tesla has been ranked No. 22 on VH1's 100 Greatest Artists of Hair Metal, known for such audience favorites as Love Song, Heaven's Trail (No Way Out), Little Suzi, and Modern Day Cowboy.

Tickets for Collective Soul and Tesla go on sale Friday, February 25 at 9am online or at 888-212-3258. Tickets are $35 for general admission or $50 for reserved tickets. The festival's VIP Deck Experience, featuring complimentary adult beverages, an elevated view of the Bay Side Music Stage, and a full buffet meal, will also return this year. A limited number of VIP Deck passes will be available for Collective Soul and Tesla at $160 each.

Collective Soul and Tesla are the fourth night of entertainment announced for the 2022 National Cherry Festival. Jim Gaffigan will perform on July 6, ZZ Top on July 8, and Boyz II Men on July 9.
