Cooking Demonstrations Debut At Farmers Market

July 27, 2016

Visitors to some upcoming downtown Traverse City farmers markets will be in for an added treat: free cooking demonstrations and food. Through a partnership between the Traverse City DDA, Grow Benzie, and SEEDS, the Grill Benzie food truck will be on-hand starting with today's (Wednesday's) farmers market. Representatives will be showing how to cook with fresh produce from the market and providing free samples.

Demonstrations will occur every hour on the half hour between 8am and noon. Demonstrations will also be done at future farmers on Saturday, July 30; Saturday, August 27; and Wednesday, August 31.
