Crystal Mountain Owners Named Hoteliers of the Year

Crystal Mountain president and CEO Jim MacInnes and wife and COO Chris MacInnes were named Michigan Hoteliers of the Year Tuesday at the 2014 Pure Michigan Governor's Conference on Tourism. The couple was presented with the honor at the conference's Stars of the Industry Awards Dinner at Grand Traverse Resort & Spa. The ceremony honors the "best of the best" in the lodging and tourism industries in the state.
Other regional winners included Shirley Allison of Pointes North Beachfront Resort Hotel in Traverse City (Guest Relations Star), Ilene Geiss-Wilson of Grayling CVB (CVB Star) and Allen Ballard of Treetops Resort & Spa in Gaylord (Sales & Marketing Star).
