Downtown TC Unveils New Artwork

Sept. 29, 2016

The Downtown Traverse City Association unveiled a new piece of public artwork Wednesday it commissioned from local artists Chase Hunt and John Jarosz.

The artwork was created by the artists during the DTCA's Friday Night Live event on August 19. It will hang in the 300 block of East Front Street on the Midwestern Broadcasting building. Todd McMillen and Jim Dewildt helped stretched the canvas for the piece.

The DTCA has been involved in a number of public art projects throughout downtown Traverse City, including the painted car hoods hanging in the Hardy Parking Garage and the art canvases installed at the entrance of the garage.
