Eighth Street Gets Its Own Party

A handful of local residents have organized an 8th Street Better Block Party to talk about the recent restriping experiment and to celebrate the revitalization along the 8th Street corridor. Organizers say this Better Block Party is a first sep in bringing "new vitality and neighborhood branding efforts" to the corridor. The event will be held this Fri., Sept. 26, 5:30-7:30pm at the Governmental Center's parking lot.
