Traverse Narcotics Team (TNT) detectives identified several individuals last week who were suspected of traveling to the Traverse City area from downstate to deliver large quantities of drugs. Surveillance was conducted in Garfield Township and a traffic stop made by members of the Michigan State Police (MSP) 7th District Emergency Support Team.

During the traffic stop, four men were arrested after the following items were located in their rental car:

> 58 grams of cocaine
> 31 grams of fentanyl

All four men in the vehicle - a 20-year-old, a 22-year-old, a 27-year-old, and a 29-year-old - were lodged at the Grand Traverse County Jail. They are each being held on a $75,000 bond for possession with the intent to deliver methamphetamine, possession with the intent to deliver cocaine, possession with the intent to deliver fentanyl, and possession with the intent to deliver heroin. Additional charges are expected as the investigation continues.
