Historic Farm Hosts Autumnal Homecoming

The historic Rex Dobson Ruby Ellen Farm in Bingham Township will celebrate the final event of its 150th year with an Autumnal Homecoming today (Sat., Oct. 10), 11am to 6pm, at the property located at 5946 S. Center Highway. Demonstrations include rope making, cider pressing, spinning and weaving, and blacksmithing. The farm's two museums will be open and tractor/hay wagon rides will be offered. The day also features a pig roast lunch and barn dancing with the Straight Forward Bluegrass Band. Tickets are $20 adults, $5 (children 6-11) and free for kids 5 and under.
