Home Sales Hold Strong

Area home sales were steady in June, up slightly from May but down from June 2024.

The median five county (Grand Traverse, Leelanau, Benize, Antrim, Kalkaska) sales price was $432,500, down from $490,500 in June 2024. 

Volume was at 282 homes sold in June, which is up from 212 in May and 232 homes in June of last year.

Median sales numbers are still considerably higher than recent years, with the June 2023 median sales price at $372,500, for instance, $309,000 in June 2021 and $255,000 in June 2019. 

From a year-to-date perspective (January-June), the total residential sales volume was $604,960,291, up from $582,008,275 and $496,411,875 in the same period for 2024 and 2023.
