Join Us for an Oktoberfest Recess Wednesday at Nicolet Bank!

Sept. 29, 2025

Celebrate the arrival of fall with The Ticker at a special outdoor Oktoberfest Recess at Nicolet Bank in downtown Traverse City on Wednesday, October 1!

Attendees at The Ticker's monthly after-work happy hour will enjoy socializing and delicious appetizers from The Towne Plaza, including lemon-marinated shrimp, smoked salmon tart, roasted pork shoulder in pastry, stuffed grape leaves, charcuterie board, and assorted cookies. Tasty beverages will be provided by BOS Wine - including Methode Agricole (sparkling), Wishflower White Blend, and Moon BOS Red - plus brews from Rare Bird Brewpub including an IPA and La Alemanana (Oktoberfest offering). Attendees will also be entered into a door drawing to win great prizes, including two RTIC coolers each filled with local merch and gift cards!

Admission to Recess is $10 per person and open to the public. Recess goes from 5pm to 7pm and will be held rain or shine (the event will move indoors in the case of poor weather). Nicolet Bank is located at 202 East State Street on the southeast corner of State/Cass in downtown Traverse City. Parking is available on surrounding streets or at the nearby Hardy parking deck.

Recess 2025 is brought to you by Grand Traverse County, a Grand Place to Live, Work & Play.
