Join us for a special Recess of Giving at Goodwill Northern Michigan's Food Rescue program tonight (Wednesday) - where attendees will enjoy delicious food and beverages, a photo booth, a silent auction, and a chance to win great prizes including a $500 gift card to The Boathouse and $140 and $100 Goodwill Northern Michigan thrifting sprees thrifting sprees! All proceeds from this special Recess event will benefit Food Rescue, which rescues, harvests, repacks, and distributes 2 million pounds of food annually — $3.34 million worth of food — to 78 food pantries, community meal sites, and baby pantries.

Attendees at The Ticker's monthly after-work happy hour will enjoy delicious food including Michael P’s Specialty Foods Pizza, In It To Win It protein balls, veggies and hummus, fruit, and cookies, plus tasty beverages including beer, wine, and NA options from Audacia Elixirs. Mandy & Marlee Mobile Bars will be serving up drinks and hosting a photo booth for event guests.

Recess attendees will be entered into a drawing to win great prizes - including a $500 gift card to The Boathouse restaurant! Attendees will also have a chance to play a game to win $140 and $100 thrifting sprees at Goodwill Northern Michigan stores. A special silent auction will be available at the event for a chance to bid on additional prizes, including:

Admission to Recess is $10 and is open to the public. All event proceeds will benefit Food Rescue. Recess goes from 5pm to 7pm. Food Rescue is located at 2889 Aero Park Drive in Traverse City (enter through Main Entrance). Park in the warehouse parking lot or overflow parking across the street at 2879 Aero Park Drive.
