Leelanau Uncaged Cancels 2020 Event

By Beth Milligan | April 30, 2020

In response to the COVID-19 threat, Leelanau UnCaged - Northport’s September street festival - is cancelling its 2020 event and moving to 2021.

Scheduled for September 26 this year, the eighth annual Leelanau UnCaged will instead move to September 25, 2021. The one-day free music festival draws as many as 8,000 people to Northport.

"Our team of volunteers had a terrific day planned but, for the sake of safety and security, we’ll just postpone it a year, making it even better for 2021," says Sandy Dhuyvetter, director of Leelanau UnCaged.
