Local Dental Practice Lauded By Fortune Magazine

Sept. 22, 2016

Traverse Dental Associates earned a spot on Fortune list of the "100 Best Workplaces for Women," ranking #70 in the country. The list is based on employee surveys and spotlights companies where women have high representation in the total employee population and in management positions. It highlights companies with generous benefits, flexible schedules, and an emphasis on balancing work and life.

The survey results showed Traverse Dental Associates with a workforce of 90 percent female with half the executive staff being female. Respondents ranked areas such as atmosphere, pride, rewards, communication and bosses as “great” in 99 percent or more.

The rankings are based upon feedback from more than 137,762 women at Great Place to Work–Certified companies. Women completed the anonymous Trust Index© survey, answering questions about how frequently they experience the behaviors that create a great workplace. They include such items as their assessment of how fairly they're treated regardless of gender, the quality and authenticity of communications with managers, and equitable pay and promotion practices.
