Local Firm Shoots "Rehab Addict" Star

Aug. 6, 2013

Fluid Motion Productions, a full service broadcast and new media production company based in Traverse City, is putting the wraps on a new TV ad campaign starring Nicole Curtis, host of the HGTV and DIY Network's hit show "Rehab Addict." The spots are being created for the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA). Fluid Motion was contracted by PACE, a Lansing-based ad agency that handles the marketing for MSHDA.

"The campaign promotes the free foreclosure help that MSHDA offers homeowners," says Fluid Motion principal Bud Solem. "It's very timely, given the current economic situation in Detroit."

The spots were shot on location in Detroit using the same home that Curtis – a Detroit native – is renovating for her hit show. The campaign will begin airing this fall.
