Maxbauer's After Hours Now Mahoney's

Feb. 18, 2013

Maxbauer's After Hours at the corner of West Front and Maple Streets in Traverse City is now Mahoney's Spirits & Edibles. The new signage went up this week along with changes to its food (all house-made, fresh daily) and beverage (more craft beer, specialized spirits) offerings. The interior will get a fresh look next. According to manager George Nemetz, "After years of neglect we are finally changing our image and bringing customers excellence." Mike Deering still owns the store and, after selling his meat market on Union St., is now focusing on the beverage store.
