Michigan Air National Guard To Perform Flyover Today

The Michigan Air National Guard will perform a flyover of Traverse City and other Michigan cities today (Tuesday) tomorrow to highlight frontline workers in the fight against COVID-19.

According to the Grand Traverse County Covid-19 Joint Operations Center, the Guard will be flying four A-10 Thunderbolts - also called Warthogs - over Traverse City. The aircaft will fly over downtown and Munson Medical Center at 2:45pm. The flight will be in conjunction with a similar flyover from the U.S. Navy Blue Angels in Detroit.
