New Sidewalk Construction On Kinross, Grant Streets Starting This Week

Crews from the City of Traverse City, Machin Engineering, Elmer’s Crane and Dozer, and Bella Concrete Construction will be constructing new sidewalk on Kinross and Grant streets starting this week and continuing through the end of August.

Crews will be building sidewalks on Kinross Street between Grant Street and South Garfield Avenue and on Grant Street between Carver Street and Hannah Avenue. Work starts today (Monday) and is expected to be substantially complete by August 30. Street segments in the identified work zones will be closed to through traffic. On-street parking will also be prohibited in the work zones.

Signage and barricades will be in place around both work sites during the construction period.
