Northern Michigan Starring in Travel Channel Show

Northern Michigan will be the star of an upcoming episode of Trip Flip on the Travel Channel. Each episode, host Bert Kreischer invites two random individuals to experience an all-expenses-paid, "once-in-a-lifetime" adventure somewhere around the globe. In an episode airing June 2 at 8pm, Kreischer takes a Louisiana couple on a winter excursion to northern Michigan. The group will participate in activities including dogsledding, ice fishing, snowmobiling and jumping into a freezing cold lake.

Featured locations on the show are expected to include Mackinac Island, Crystal Mountain Resort and Traverse City's North Peak Brewery.
