Police Investigate Bizarre Pranks

June 7, 2016

Police say two bizarre incidents at a Traverse City home are probably part of a juvenile prank.

Traverse City police were called Friday morning after a woman discovered baking dough dumped in the driveway in front of her house on Steele Street.

There was a note attached to the dough that read: “Thanks for stealing my toilet – Pillsbury Doughboy,” says Chief Jeffrey O’Brien.

Investigators believe the incident is related to one a few days earlier. In that case, the woman’s son discovered a pair of soiled woman’s underpants attached to the tailgate of his truck.
