Project Feed The Kids To Receive CherryT Ball Drop Proceeds

Oct. 12, 2024

CherryT Ball Drop organizers announced that Project Feed the Kids will be the beneficiary of its annual New Year's Eve event.

Project Feed the Kids is a local organization dedicated to alleviating child hunger and providing meals to families in need across Northern Michigan.

The CherryT Ball Drop has become a New Year’s Eve tradition that draws thousands of residents and visitors to the intersection of Cass and Front Streets to celebrate the start of the New Year. The event will kick off at 10:30 PM with live entertainment, leading up to the iconic drop of the illuminated cherry at midnight. Festivities will conclude at 12:20 AM.

Each year, money raised in this event is directed to charity. All donations made at the gate will go directly to Project Feed the Kids.
