Running Classes, Beginners Through Advanced

The Traverse City Track Club will offer a new series of eight-week running classes for all levels of runners called “2017 Spring Running” starting Tues., April 4, and meeting weekly through Sat., May 27.

Participants will receive a comprehensive eight-week training plan designed to fit thier needs, in addition to twice weekly organized group training runs. Group pacers will be utilized to assist runners. The class is appropriate for persons of all ages and abilities. Participants will need a good pair of running shoes and a watch with a timing mode. 

The classes will be instructed by Ross Deye, a life-long runner and award winning running coach in Traverse City. “This is a proven, simplistic, training program for distance runners of all ages and paces with the focus on reaching their maximum performance by a specific date regardless of pace,“ says Deye.

The first class meets on Tues., April 4 at 5:30pm at Right Brain Brewery in Traverse City. Each eight-week session is $40, and includes both the Tuesday 5:30pm and 8:00am Saturday runs at locations in and around Traverse City. More info here.
