Seeking Buildings To Demolish

July 30, 2016

Habitat for Humanity GTR is seeking buildings that need to be removed or demolished. Deconstruction is a green alternative to traditional demolition. It is the hand demolition of structures in order to reuse and recycle materials from that structure. Using the motto Deconstruct, Donate, and Deduct, Habitat uses all revenues from sales to offset its costs and help it in its work to eliminate substandard housing and create homeownership in the Grand Traverse Region.
