Senior Shoplifter Wanted

May 24, 2016

An older woman was captured on surveillance video as she allegedly swiped over $700 worth of clothing from a store.

Now Traverse City police would like to capture the suspect, and they’ve released images of a well-dressed woman in her 60s or 70s who has gray hair and a dark ponytail. The woman stands about five feet four inches tall and has a stocky build.

The woman took six pieces of clothing worth $766 from What to Wear on Eat Front Street between 3pm and 3:30pm on April 30, says TCPD Chief Jeffrey O’Brien. Anyone who can identify the woman should call police at 231-995-5002.
