Shinedown, '90s Dance Party Added To Cherry Fest Lineup

A lineup of chart-topping '90s acts and popular rock band Shinedown have been added to the National Cherry Festival lineup for this summer.

The festival will host a "'90s Dance Party 2.0" on Tuesday, July 4 on the Pepsi Bay Side Music Stage. The event will feature performances by Vanilla Ice ("Ice Ice Baby"), All-4-One ("I Swear"), Coolio ("Gangsta's Paradise") and C&C Music Factory feat. Freedom Williams ("Gonna Make You Sweat/Everybody Dance Now"). Tickets go on sale Friday, April 21 at 9am online and are $30 for general admission or $50 for reserved seating.

Also confirmed for this year's festival is rock band Shinedown, who will perform on Monday, July 3. Shinedown has had 22 top-10 singles, 11 of which hit #1 on the charts. The group has the third-most #1 singles on the Billboard Mainstream Rock charts after Van Halen and Three Days Grace and has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide. Tickets go on sale Friday, April 21 at 9am online and are $30 for general admission or $50 for reserved seating.

The National Cherry Festival also has a limited number of VIP deck packages for sale for concert nights for $100 that include two complementary adult beverages, VIP seating and a full buffet-style meal.

Other acts scheduled for the 2017 National Cherry Festival include REO Speedwagon (July 5), country star Cole Swindell (July 6), and comedy troupe The Tenderloins (July 7).
