Speaker At NMC During Sexual Assault Awareness Week

March 26, 2019

Northwestern Michigan College will host author and speaker Mike Domitrz as part of Sexual Assault Awareness Week. Domitrz will be presenting his “Can I Kiss You?” program to students and the community on Wednesday, April 10. The program is based on his book of the same name, with real-life scenarios and interactive exercises. It addresses the reality of sexual assault, explaining why asking first makes all the difference, and also making smarter choices with partners, supporting survivors of sexual assault, and intervening when danger is present at parties and group settings with alcohol.

The presentation, which takes place at Milliken Auditorium at 6:30pm, was made possible with help from the Michigan State Police Campus Sexual Assault Grant Program.
