Taste Of Success To Debut Scholarship

March 23, 2019

The Great Lakes Culinary Institute will be hosting its annual Taste of Success Scholarship Auction at the Hagerty Center Friday, April 12. This is the 25th year for the event, and it will include the announcement of a new scholarship in honor of longtime director and instructors Fred and Linda Laughlin. The Chef Fred and Linda Laughlin Scholarship will provide a scholarship of approximately $1,000 to a student studying at the Great Lakes Culinary Institute.

The strolling dinner features an international theme. All of the food is prepared by Great Lakes Culinary Institute students and served at numerous tasting tables. Local wines and craft beer will also be available. Tickets for the event are $100 each, and all proceeds from the event benefit student scholarships. Last year the event raised more than $110,000 for student scholarships. Click here for more information or tickets.
