The Accidentals In TV Spot

Dec. 8, 2014

A new television commercial featuring popular Traverse City band The Accidentals is now airing in Grand Rapids and Detroit media markets. The spot first aired on Thanksgiving Day during the Detroit Lions game. Created by Traverse City marketing firm PB&J and Shanty Creek Resorts, the ad features the single, "The Silence" in an animated spot showing a family escaping the city for a weekend at the resort.

"We wanted to capture a certain energy for the spot," says Karl Bastian, PB&J principal. "I heard the band perform the song live and it just seemed to fit perfectly."
