The Great Beerd Run: Nov. 14

Get ready to celebrate all things beer and beard at the 2nd annual Great Beerd Run on Sat., Nov. 14, at 10am at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa. The 5k fun run is untimed with on-course beer tastings provided by Beards Brewery of Petoskey, Short's Brewing of Bellaire and Right Brain Brewery of Traverse City. The entire course is on Resort property. A post-race beer tent will feature a Best Beard Contestmm– with prizes for the best natural and best "assisted" beard, food, beer and music. Registration is $40 and includes a knitted beard beanie, three bear samples, entrance into the post-beer party and one glass of beer.
