Traverse City Horse Shows Is Back, And We Have Your Inside Access And Tickets

March 21, 2023

The Traverse City Horse Shows will return this summer, bringing equestrian competitors to Flintfields Horse Park in Williamsburg for 12 weeks of competition.

Competition will begin June 7, and equestrian events will continue into September.

With more than $7 million in prize money, the event attracts Olympic athletes, top trainers, professionals, and amateur and junior riders from 46 states and 29 countries. And its impact on the region is staggering: The average visiting party is 8.9 members, spending $6,577 per day including housing, shopping, dining and more. The average stay in the area is 33 days per visiting party.

And now The Ticker has your inside access: The Ticker will publish the only Official Traverse City Horse Shows Visitors Guide, complete with an introduction to equestrian sport, profiles of key competitors, a map of the 130-acre property, and more. The guide will be distributed in registration packets to all competitors, and will also be available on-site and inserted into 5,000 copeis of the June 26 Northern Express.

Businesses who purchase a full-page display ad will not only reach the visiting equestrian community, but will also be given two free admission tickets to see the competition in-person.
