Two Traverse City Galleries Closing

Sept. 20, 2014

Marylou and John Zaloudek, owners of Americana Gallery in downtown Traverse City, have announced their retirement. A retirement sale is now underway. The gallery first opened in 1999, selling "classic collections of American artistry."

Also, Cog's Creek Gallery at Front and Maple on TC's west end is closing. Owner Kim Bazemore is holding a sale on art, display items, furniture and more today (Saturday), 10am to 4pm. Bazemore will maintain a studio at the space and continue making jewelry.
